Waving Flag: El Himno del Mundial Suráfrica 2010

“When I get older, I will be stronger They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag”

.....asi comienza, uno de las mas bellos himnos utilizados en un mundial de futbol, y por supuesto, la voz cantante es K’naan, cantante de hip hop famoso puesto que en sus canciones siempre hace referencia a su orgullo por sus raíces africanas, de origen Somalí, su nombre significa “Viajero”, y se traslado a los 13 años a Canadá, donde, tan pronto como su ingles iba mejorando, empezó a cantar hip hop. Años después viajo por Norteamérica dándose a conocer, y muy pronto publico su primer álbum y sus canciones empezaron a recorrer el mundo.

Su canción Wavin’ Flag, fue escogida por Suráfrica como el himno del mundial, además de ser escogida como banda sonora del videojuego NBA 2K10.
